Matthew is a principal bioinformatician in the Behjati lab at the Sanger Institute. He leads scientific projects with a focus on combining bulk and single cell transcriptomes of childhood tumours with single cell transcriptomes of normal development to better understand each cancer's origins and behaviour. He is also more broadly responsible for the informatics of the lab.
