Dr. Boris Adryan spent several years as academic group leader in genome research and machine learning method development. He was lecturer for genome bioinformatics and course director for an interdisciplinary programme in computational biology at the University of Cambridge. As entrepreneur and data science freelancer, he worked with various startups in the IoT space, notably smart workplace company OpenSensors Ltd. Following a short stint with international consultancy Zuhlke Engineering GmbH in Frankfurt, he joined Merck KGaA as data scientist and data strategist in their Chief Digital Office at the Darmstadt HQ. Following a transition into Merck’s Healthcare business, in his recent role as Digital Academy Lead, he is responsible for planning and organising 'digital and data upskilling' for Healthcare.
