By Train

Madrid-Barajas Airport is directly connected by a subway to the Nuevos Ministerios station where you will transfer to the C-2 or C-7 lines to Atocha Station. Alternatively, the national railway company of Spain operates routes from and to Madrid airport with line C-1. The train has 5 stops, the Chamartín station, Nuevos Ministerios station, Atocha central railway station, Méndez Álvaro station and Príncipe Pío station. Getting to the station from the airport is not as convenient if you are arriving at terminals 1, 2 or 3. Once at Atocha station you can get a train to Toledo which takes around 30 minutes and costs €25 for a round trip

By Taxi

You can get a taxi to Toledo with the cost being around €120 and will take around 1 hour

By Bus

There are two ways to go by metro from Madrid airport to Plaza Eliptica Metro Station. One of them is from the airport’s Terminal 1, 2 and 3, and the other option is from Terminal 4. You will have to go until Nuevos Ministerios Line 8 and transfer Metro Line 10 or Metro Line 6 until Metro Line 11 where you will get to Plaza Eliptica Metro Station. The total travel time can be 1 hour and 20 minutes.
