Dr. Gregory Vladimer is one of the Scientific Co-Founders and CSO of Allcyte in Vienna, Austria. He received his PhD from the Department of Medicine of the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he studied inflammasome signalling. Prior to Allcyte, he was a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow with Prof. Giulio Superti-Furga at CeMM, at the Center for Molecular Medicine, in Vienna, where he and colleagues developed techniques for single cell imaging based screening and analysis of primary material. Together with the Department of Hematology of the Medical University of Vienna, they spearheaded the use of image based screening for the personalized identification of treatments for hematological cancer patients in a prospective clinical trial. Further, as an immunologist, a portion of his work has been on the use of single-cell imaging to map immunomodulatory effects of biologics to uncover new I/O targets. This work has been published in Nature, Nature Chemical Biology, Lancet Hematology, NEJM, Cell, Immunity, and others.
