Oxford Global is proud to present our highly-anticipated 7th Annual Cell Culture & Bioprocessing Congress. Following a comprehensive research process undertaken with an expert panel of advisory board members from global pharmaceutical organisations and leading academic research institutions, an updated 2018 programme ensures you will benefit from talks on the latest trends and technologies impacting growth in the cell market.
Across the two days, senior experts will showcase novel strategies currently being utilised to improve efficiency in cell line development and engineering. Case studies provide insights from leading companies into CHO and protein expression strategies, stability in cell mammalian lines and high throughput analytics.
There has been a global push towards more 3D cell technologies, motivated in part by the development of automated large-scale cell culture systems, increased focus on regenerative medicine and a need for models that accurately resemble original tissue to predict clinical outcome. New for 2018, further sessions drill more specifically into 3D cellular innovations to provide insights into disease models, bioprinting and microfluidics.
Finally, our popular bioprocessing streams have been revamped for 2018 to ensure discussion on the latest technologies affecting this area. On Day 1, learn more about Upstream Bioprocessing, from process spectroscopy to scale-up using 3D technologies. Reflecting the industry push towards single-use systems and disposables, we have increased focus on the application of these technologies, including bioreactors. Day 2 then looks in depth at recent updates in Downstream Processing. With ever-improving instrumentation still a key priority in this area, benefit from case studies on continuous chromatography and mass spectrometry, alongside discussion of challenges in biologics manufacturing and next generation therapeutics.
